Yes. The payment is held in a secure bank account until the client verifies that the job is complete. Only after you confirm the work is finished are the funds released and transferred to the handyman.

It is free for handymen to send offers and for clients to post an order on the app. Payment is only required after a deal is struck between the client and the handyman and the client hires them for the project.

Hotfiks charges a commission fee that depends on the total value of the order. For projects with a gross value under EUR 200, the fee is 5.5%. As the order value increases, the fee percentage decreases, dropping to as low as approximately 0.22% for large orders. This means that the higher the project’s value, the lower the app’s fee percentage.

The Hotfiks app is available to anyone over the age of 17 who is legally residing in or visiting Lithuania.

Yes, registration is mandatory. Because the app handles payments for services, anonymous use is not possible.

Upon arrival, a handyman may discover hidden defects or a client may have additional requests that were not visible in the initial photos. In this situation, the handyman can adjust the original estimate before starting any work. The client must agree to the new, adjusted estimate and pay the difference.

If the client does not agree to the adjusted estimate, the order can be cancelled. 

In this case, you should contact the Hotfiks app managers to request a transaction cancellation. Once the cancellation is processed, the client will receive a full refund of their advance payment.
